-At the opening of the class Dr. Reimer passed out the study Guide for the final Exam and the attendance sheet was passed around as well.
-Erin Spencer Showed her film, Are You There?. It was about a girl named Anna. It shows how Anna realizes throughout the film that the past is gone and she must be content with what the present is and the future holds. The movie is set at a park where Anna wears a white dress. You see Anna trying to catch up to her past. She follows the past version of herself through the park and the woods until she is met with the present/future version of herself. You then see the realization that Anna finally lets go of her past to grasp hold of her present. The movie ends.
-Pete Hurley, Emily Simpson, and Shelley Musso show their film, Corporate Casualty. It was about a man named Steven thinking about committing suicide because his work was so stressful, however another coworker ends up in the room where Steven was going to slit his wrists. The Movie ends with the audience finding irony when the other coworker Ritchie commits suicide and that’s when was in the room already. In their movie there are many references to suicide with the use of editing and adding in photos. The group talked about the Problems in making the film with arranging schedules and the numerous edits that came about .
-Chris and Carlos showed their film, Death of a Paddleboat Lover. This movie was about a man named Steven who falls in love with a paddleboat. His best friend thinks he needs help and makes him go to a therapy class (Paddleboat Lovers Anonymous) where Steven meets a girl who he falls in love with too. At the end of the movie Steven finds out that the paddle boat he loved is the same paddle boat that his girlfriend was in love with, so he then dumps his girlfriend and commits suicide. His girlfriend sees this and commits suicide as well. The movie ends with Steven and the girl laying next to each other dead on a paddle boat.
